Anthropology Course Plan (first 3 semesters)
This is an example course plan based on the 2020-2021 University Catalog; your actual
schedule may deviate from this example. Your faculty advisor will work with you to
select appropriate courses.
As an IWU student, it is your responsibility to track your progress each semester
towards completing graduation requirements using the MyIWU degree evaluation tool.

Study Abroad
For students interested in studying abroad, the recommended semesters are: spring of the second year or fall of the third year. Students should consider taking the methods course, Anth 380, prior to studying abroad.
Additional Information
- It is strongly recommended that Anthropology majors and minors complete the two required 100-level courses (160 and 171) prior to enrolling in 300-level courses in the program.
