Dance
The minor in Dance provides students with broad technical training in jazz, tap, ballet and modern, plus theory courses including dance history, choreography and kinesiology. Dance minors are encouraged to audition for the biennial Faculty Choreographed Dance Concert and annual Student Choreographed Dance Concert.
Minor Sequence in Dance:
A minimum of seven course units to include:
- THEA 102 (Theatre majors may substitute THEA 180 or 188)
- THEA 376
- A total of three course units from the following:
- MUTH 336
- One of the following: THEA 490, 491, 498, 499, MUTH 494 or PEC 325
