Residence Hall Information and Policies

In addition to the policies and expectations outlined here, all students must follow the published regulations and policies in the Student Handbook and University Catalog. Individual residence halls may have  additional expectations based on their unique living environment. These policies help ensure the safety and well-being of all residence hall and IWU Apartment residents.

Community Living

Community living policies outline expectations for living together respectfully and using residence hall facilities responsibily. Review the IWU Community Expectationsfor policies on :

University Housing Requirements

Damages

Residents are responsibile for the care of their rooms and shared living spaces and surrounding areas, inclulding financial responsibility for damages. Review the damages policies for information on:.

Policies and Procedures

These policies, procedures, and regulations help protect students' health and safety, prevent fire and other hazards, and reduce curcumstances that could lead to a crisis or emergency. Review the  Policies and Procedures for information on:

Move-Out 

At the end of the spring semester, students will receive move-out instructions by email. Those not staying for May Session Break must leave by 6:00 p.m. on the day of their last final exam. Residence halls close April 30 at 6:00 p.m.
