Campus Living Options: Choices & Flexibility

More than 75% of Illinois Wesleyan students live on campus. There are many options — from traditional halls that provide a supportive, inclusive environment to apartment-style housing for junior & senior students who desire more independence.

Traditional Halls

Traditional residence halls provide students with opportunities to interact and build relationships with a large, diverse group of peers, while still maintaining close ties with a smaller group of floormates.

Small Halls

House-style residence halls are smaller communities that offer a more intimate living environment for residents.

Suite-Style Housing

Suite-style residence halls allow students the privacy and independence of individual bedrooms that open into a shared living space. Suites are open to sophomores, juniors, and seniors.

Apartment Housing

The Gates at Wesleyan and East Street Apartments, reserved for juniors and seniors, provide residential living options that blend the best of campus housing with the development of independence.
