Located next to Funsell First-Year Residence Halls, Kemp is a popular choice among
both domestic and international upper-division students. Kemp is the most commonly
known name for this hall with a gorgeous, home-like feel, spacious rooms, stunning
architectural design, and a strong community.

Room Furnishings: A twin extra long bed, desk, closet, dresser, and bookshelf are provided for each
resident. Beds are loftable or bunkable.
Laundry Facilities: There is a washer and a dryer located in the basement.
Kitchen/Dining Room: A stove/oven, Microwave, fridge and sink are available for all students on the first
floor. There is a small dining room adjacent to the kitchen with a table and chairs.
Lounges: There is a fireplace lounge with sofas, a TV, and a piano. There is also a recreation
lounge with a pool table, as well as a conference room and study lounge available
on the 1st floor.
Other Facilities: An ice machine is located in the basement.
Internet Access: Illinois Wesleyan Internet Wireless Access is available for all residents.

In one of the rooms on the first floor, there is a large pool table for residents
You can see many students hanging outside of Kemp using the porch and lounging on
the hanging swing!
Kemp has a beautiful staircase that welcomes residents into the hall.
Every year, Kemp hosts Sushi Night where students can learn to roll their own sushi
and learn about the history of sushi making.
