High School Math Competition

(Some time in Sept/Oct 2026)

Schools can enter teams of up to four students per team and there will be two exams: an individual exam and a team project. Each individual exam will consist of 40 multiple choice questions. There will be an exam for 9th/10th year students, covering material from Algebra, Geometry, and introductory Probability and Statistics. There will be a 11th/12th year exam covering Trigonometry, Calculus, and more advanced Probability and Statistics. The team project will challenge students to design a mathematical solution to a complicated real-world problem.

  • 9 a.m. - Welcome and Registration 
  • 9:30 a.m. - Individual Exams 
  • 11 a.m. - Lunch
  • 12 p.m. - Team Exams
  • 2 p.m. - Faculty Presentations
  • 3 p.m. - Awards
