Karolina Staros is a recent graduate of Western Michigan University, where she recently completed her PhD in Sociology. Her research interests are social movements, equitable community organizing, and building inclusive organizations. She has taught courses in sociology for over ten years and is excited to be a part of the IWU campus community this year. When she is not visiting the Great Lakes back home, she enjoys spending her free time kayaking and being near the water.
