Maggie Evans is a researcher, and at heart, a teacher. She started her career as a middle school teacher in Chicago Public Schools and worked as an adjunct professor at the University of Illinois at Chicago. She then returned to her hometown and alma mater, the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign to complete her doctoral degree. She is very excited to join the Illinois Wesleyan community! At Illinois Wesleyan, she teaches ED 255 (Child Study and Assessment) and ED 257 (The Exceptional Child).
