Activities and Engagement Opportunities

Don't let this period of "social distancing" stop you from connecting with each other and participating in clubs and other organizations through online and physically distant means, such as Google Hangouts and Zoom. Registered Student Organizations

  • McLean County GRID
    IWU Action Research Center is maintaining this Facebook group with opportunities with local non-profits.
  • Feed BloNo Kids
    Organizing and coordinating with local community leaders & businesses to ensure the children of Bloomington-Normal do not go hungry during this time of crisis. They will be serving free hamburgers and hotdogs everyday that school is out so that our children can eat.

Food Options & Access

  • BN Prepared
    If you’re in town, here is a list of Bloomington-Normal restaurants open for carryout, delivery, or curbside pickup.
  • School Street Food Pantry
    If you are in need of food, the School Street Food Pantry on Illinois State University’s campus is open to all IWU, ISU, and Heartland students on Fridays from 4-6 PM
