EZ Proxy

Illinois Wesleyan uses EZ Proxy to allow faculty, staff and students to access internal websites from off-campus. These internal services include the IT 3900 Help Request web page, the Ames Library's subscribed resources such as; Lexis/Nexis, EBSCO databases, and more.

Any time an internal page is visited, EZ Proxy will prompt for a NetID and password. No settings or configuration are required.

Another use for EZ Proxy is to allow access to services that can only be accessed by IWU students, faculty, and staff. 

Protect Your Website Information

We just made it easier than ever to designate a portion of your website as “intra-only”. All you have to do is make a directory called “intra” and put your web pages within! If someone tries to access that directory from off-campus, they will be prompted to login with their NetID and password. If you need assistance setting this up in OmniCMS, please submit the Web Content form.
