Ryan Mellske

Bio

Ryan Mellske is the founder of Flex Arbitri PLLC, specializing in international arbitration and cross-border dispute resolution. He has acted as lead or co-counsel in arbitrations and litigation involving clients across North and South America, Europe, and Asia, managing complex matters from case strategy to client relations and mentoring junior attorneys.

He has served as a Senior Lecturing Fellow at Duke University School of Law, teaching International Arbitration, International Dispute Resolution, and Advocacy in International Arbitration, and coaching Duke’s Moot Court Team for international competitions, including the Willem C. Vis Moot. He has also acted as an arbitrator in prestigious international arbitration moot competitions worldwide.

Previously, Professor. Mellske worked with Dechert LLP, Three Crowns LLP, White & Case LLP, and Arias & Muñoz, providing counsel on investor-State and commercial arbitrations. His scholarship includes co-authoring The International Arbitration Rulebook and contributions to numerous journals and books on international investment and arbitration law. He is admitted to practice in New York and the District of Columbia and is fluent in Spanish.
