Bio
Dr. Jeremy G. Roberts is an Assistant Professor of Business and Supply Chain Management at Illinois Wesleyan University. He specializes in supply chain management, project management, multi-site operations, inventory control, continuous improvement, procurement, and information systems.
Dr. Roberts has extensive teaching experience at both the undergraduate and graduate levels, including courses in supply chain management, sourcing and operations, business leadership, and nonprofit leadership. His research focuses on digital immersion and experiential learning in supply chain education, humanitarian/disaster Response logistics , and outsourcing strategies in healthcare.
Before his academic career, Dr. Roberts served in leadership roles in the U.S. Marine Corps and the Department of the Navy, and as CEO and Regional Portfolio Manager for the Disabled American Veterans, North Carolina.
He is an ASCM Certified Supply Chain Professional Fellow, PMI Project Management Professional, and Lean Six Sigma Black Belt. Dr. Roberts is actively engaged in professional and scholarly service, including leadership roles in supply chain and project management associations, mentoring students, and supporting veteran communities.
