Bio
Cameron Horn is an Instructor in Business Administration at Illinois Wesleyan University, where he teaches courses in marketing, personal selling, social media communications, digital marketing, and retailing. His teaching emphasizes experiential learning and applied projects, preparing students to connect classroom concepts with real-world business challenges.
Professor Horn holds an MBA and a B.S. in Management & Leadership. His professional background includes serving as a Rural Business Development Manager with the Illinois Small Business Development Center, where he advised over 600 clients on entrepreneurship, innovation, and economic development. He has also worked as a marketing consultant and is the founder of several small businesses, giving him first-hand insight into the challenges and opportunities facing entrepreneurs.
Professor Horn serves on the Board of the North American Management Society and has been recognized with the Helen Cleaver Distinguished Teaching Award.
His academic and professional work centers on empowering students and communities to think creatively, act ethically, and lead effectively in today’s evolving business environment.
