Affinity Groups and Committees

The Alumni Association and Office of Alumni Engagement strives to support meaningful ways for alumni to connect with one another, current students, and the Illinois Wesleyan community. Our Affinity Groups create opportunities for Titans to stay involved, build relationships, and strengthen their lifelong connection to Illinois Wesleyan!

Each Affinity Group has their own mission and purpose, and all Chairs report to the Alumni Association Board of Directors. View the links below to learn more about each Affinity Group!

  • Alumni of Color Collective
The Alumni of Color Collective (ACC) provides meaningful opportunities for all alumni to engage with the Illinois Wesleyan community through social, educational, and service oriented activities in support of historically underrepresented alumni and students. Our goal is to support community and belonging among the Illinois Wesleyan University community.

  • International Alumni Network
Illinois Wesleyan University is proud to recognize our international alumni community via the International Alumni Network (IAN). This community spans many different regions, countries, and cultures. No matter where our alumni live, it is our hope that friendships and memories created at IWU last a lifetime.

  • Council for IWU Women
The Council for IWU Women (CFW) give time, talent, and resources to support the personal and professional development of all Titans invested in women's efforts at Illinois Wesleyan. The Council exists to promote democratic citizenship in a global society while working to support the intellectual and personal growth of students by offering guidance and role models to the extended University community.

  • Pride Alumni Community
The Pride Alumni Community (PAC) serves to connect members of the LGBTQIA2S+ community, friends, and allies to Illinois Wesleyan. PAC strives to uplift the student Pride Alliance and all students regardless of sexual orientation or gender, supporting their transition into engaged and involved alumni. The Pride Alumni Community is a space for social, educational, and philanthropic connections between members and the greater Titan community.

  • Young Alumni Council
The Young Alumni Council engages and empowers alumni from the last decade by fostering meaningful connections, supporting the transition from student to alumni life, and strengthening lifelong engagement with Illinois Wesleyan University through programming, mentorship, networking, and philanthropy.
