Illinois Wesleyan University Society of Physics Students

SPS Sigma
The IWU Society of  Physics  Students, on Facebook.

The Illinois Wesleyan University Society of Physics Students (SPS) is the student chapter of the American Institute of Physics (AIP). The AIP envisions seven roles SPS has within the physics community. The IWU SPS chapter exists to provide information and services to the members of the IWU community who are interested in physics. The IWU SPS also exists to build a sense of community between students and faculty. We want the physics major to be more than just a collection of classes taken over the course of four years. The name Society of Physics Students is a misnomer, SPS encourages the participation of anyone interested in physics regardless of their major.
