The Pride Alumni Community (PAC) Endowed Scholarship will provide financial support
and encouragement to Illinois Wesleyan University students who demonstrate leadership
and involvement within the lesbian, gay, bisexual, queer, ally, transgender, gender
non-conforming (LGBQA TGNC) community, and whose efforts seek to promote awareness
and acceptance in the larger university community. This Endowment will self-sustain,
and provide an annual gift, year after year.
PAC will also continue to promote and grow the Pride Giving Circle which depends on committed giving by alumni, family and friends of IWU. The Giving
Circle has raised over $20,000 in support of LGBQA TGTN students at Wesleyan and we
hope to continue this effort for many years.
