PAC Darcy L. Greder Endowed Scholarship

The Pride Alumni Community has established the PAC Darcy L. Greder Endowed Scholarship. Darcy played a critical role in the lives of thousands of students during her 42 year career at Illinois Wesleyan. This endowed scholarship honoring Darcy will be an ongoing recognition of the student-centered care and guidance that Darcy provided to IWU students. The Advancement Office and Dean of Students Office will coordinate the selection of the student recipient, with preference given to a current IWU student who is a member of Pride Alliance, demonstrating positive sensitivity to and involvement in LGBTQ and TGNC issues on campus. Our goal is to raise $25,000, the amount needed to endow a scholarship, by December 31, 2019. This will allow for the first Pride Alumni Community Darcy L. Greder Scholar to be awarded in the 2021-2022 academic year.

PAC will also continue to promote and grow the Pride Giving Circle which depends on committed giving by alumni, family and friends of IWU. The Giving Circle has raised over $20,000 in support of LGBQA TGTN students at Wesleyan and we hope to continue this effort for many years.
