The Alpha Gamma Delta Scholarship was established to support a current AGD sister and is always looking to grow its membership.
This giving circle was originally established by two Alpha Gam alumnae, Kat Meginniss White '85 and Leisa Dede Johnston '86, along with Jessa White '15. Kat was Leisa's pledge mom, and they have remained close through the years. Jessa is both Kathy's daughter and Leisa's Goddaughter.
When Leisa was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2010, her Alpha Gam sisters rallied around her and gave her support that aided her recovery. This scholarship is to honor the bonds of sisterhood and friendship that was part of Kat & Leisa's IWU experience and to help ensure this same blessed experience for future AGD sisters.
