Kelly Schuler

Education

Kelly Schuler received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree in 1982 from Elmhurst College and a Master of Science in Nursing degree from Saint Francis Medical Center College of Nursing in 2009. She holds national specialty certification in radiology nursing.

Biography

Kelly has been an adjunct faculty member at Illinois Wesleyan University since 2009 and has also served as an adjunct faculty member for Mennonite College of Nursing, teaching in the clinical setting. Ms. Schuler has worked as a clinical nurse in critical care, surgery, medical imaging, and was later the neuroscience service line leader. She has had multiple leadership roles at OSF Healthcare-St. Joseph Medical Center, including director of inpatient nursing.  Her last role was director of clinical services-cardiovascular services/surgical and the birthing center.  

Honors and Memberships

Ms. Schuler is a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing,  the Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi and the Association of Radiology. She is a Board Member for Faith and Action and she serves on the Board for Women Empowered at OSF Healthcare-St. Joseph Medical Center.  She received the Transformational Leadership Award in 2017 and  the Outstanding Alumni-Excellence in  Practice Award at Saint Francis Medical Center College of Nursing.
