BLOOMINGTON, Ill. — Celebrating the works of Senior Lizette Toto ’21 and art students from across disciplines, the Senior Art Exhibit and the 34th Annual Juried Student Art Exhibition will be displayed March 29 through April 21 in the Wakeley and Atrium Galleries.

Located in the Ames School of Art and Design (6 Ames Plaza West), the galleries are free and open to the public Monday through Friday 2-5 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday 1-4 p.m. They will be closed Saturday, April 3 and Sunday, April 4.

Representing the class of 2021, senior Lizette Toto will display her Bachelor of Fine Arts Senior Exhibition “The Corner Office” — a culmination of Toto’s work as a design major — in the Atrium Gallery of the School of Art.

Representing all aspects of the art program, the 34th Annual Juried Student Art Exhibition showcases student talent across disciplines, including painting, drawing, printmaking, photography, graphic design, 3-D design, ceramics, sculpture and glass. Students from all class years will have their pieces displayed.

A virtual reception will be held Saturday, April 10 at 2 p.m. to honor artists participating in the exhibition and to present awards. Several of the honors are “purchase awards,” meaning student’s pieces will be displayed on campus for years to come.
