Background 

Dr. Michael Thompson currently serves as the Associate Vice President for Institutional Effectiveness. In this role he collects, organizes, analyzes, and interprets institutional data and intelligence for the purposes of strategic planning, decision-making, and program evaluation for the University.

Thompson began his career at Illinois Wesleyan in 2007 as the Assistant Provost and Director of Institutional Research and Planning.
