BLOOMINGTON, Ill. — Alumni and the broader local community are invited to enroll in several Summer Term courses at Illinois Wesleyan during June or July.
In the month of June, courses are available in economics, finite mathematics, and calculus I. The last day to add or drop a class in June is Monday, June 2. The July session includes a course on civil liberties and social justice and elementary Spanish II.
"Summer Term at Illinois Wesleyan gives current students the flexibility to advance their studies, invites alumni to reengage with their university and provides high school and community members the chance to explore their passions while sampling an IWU education," said Associate Provost Becky Roesner, who helps organize Summer Term.
A searchable list of courses is available here. Currently-enrolled IWU students may register for summer courses in Banner. Rising high school juniors and seniors, as well as members of the broader community are able to apply for summer term as a non-degree seeking student. Those who are not current IWU students must complete the summer term application to be added to the enrollment system. Non-degree seeking students interested in taking a June course should apply by May 15. Non-degree seeking students interested in taking a July course should apply by June 15.
Students from other colleges and universities should consult their academic advisor and registrar's office about how IWU courses may transfer back to their home institution.
