Homecoming and Family Weekend 2025 was unlike any other in Illinois Wesleyan University’s history! Over 1,000 alumni, students, faculty, staff, family, and friends helped us celebrate 175 Years of Titan Stories by reminiscing and reconnecting on campus. Here are just a few highlights:

  • We honored esteemed alumni across multiple fields, including John Camardella ‘03 (Distinguished Alumni Award), Carol Willis ‘68 (Loyalty Award), Natalie Lalagos ‘12 (Robert M. Montgomery Outstanding Young Alumni Award), Nancy Steele Brokaw ‘71 (Outstanding Alumnus in the Humanities Award), and Brian Gegel ‘94 (Distinguished Alumni Award for Excellence in Nursing).
  • The School of Theatre Arts wowed audiences with multiple performances of their fresh interpretation of William Shakespeare’s classic, Romeo and Juliet
  • The 1850 Market marked its third year, topped off by a rousing performance from the Titan Pep Band.
  • IWU’s Wind Ensemble honored international collaboration and the universal language of music as they performed alongside Jugendbläserphilharmonie Sachsen, the Youth Wind Orchestra from Saxony, Germany.
  • The classes of 1970, 1975, 1985, 1995, 2000, and 2015 celebrated milestone reunions across campus and all of Bloomington-Normal.

If you missed any of the fun, you can view photos from the entire weekend on the official Alumni Association Flickr.
