8:30 - 11 AM — Coffee with Tommy
The Quad, Joslin Atrium Steps
Kick off Homecoming and Family Weekend with a cozy treat! Join us for free coffee, donuts, and apple cider alongside our favorite Titan, Tommy! Stop by for snacks, selfies, and school spirit as we start the celebration in true IWU style.

1 - 3 PM — RSO Window Painting
Memorial Center (Vinyard Room), Hansen Student Center (Tommy's), Shirk Center
Student organizations can showcase their creativity and school spirit! Each RSO will have the opportunity to paint a window, highlighting their organization and incorporating this year's theme: 175 Years of Titan Stories.

8:45 - 10 PM — CAB Stuff-a-Plush

Students, make your own personalized stuffed animal keepsake including a special 175th Anniversary IWU t-shirt for your animal at CAB Stuff-A-Plush.

5 - 6 — Black Student Union (BSU) 2025 Third Annual Homecoming Court Presentations
The Quad
Join us on the steps of State Farm Hall to celebrate and highlight Black Student Union's 2025 Homecoming Court with friends and family. BSU takes this chance to promote the livelihood, culture and contributions of Black students to IWU's campus.

6 - 8 PM — CAB Pizza Taste
Hansen Student Center, Center Court
Gather in the Hansen Student Center for the annual CAB Pizza Taste Event! This event showcases pizza from several local chains in the Bloomington/Normal area. Students are welcome to try a sample from each participating restaurant and vote for their favorite!

7 - 9 PM — Men's Soccer vs. Wheaton

Cheer on the Men’s Soccer team as they host Wheaton!

7:30 PM — Romeo and Juliet
McPherson Hall, Jerome Mirza Theatre
The School of Theatre Arts (SoTA) season production featuring current students in all roles, directed by Tom Quinn. William Shakespeare's enduring tragedy about two star-crossed lovers from feuding families opens our 2025-2026 season in a bold, new interpretation. Inverting the legacy of Elizabethan performance, this production departs from traditional casting expectations to ask compelling questions about identity and the masks we wear in society. Tickets are available at the SoTA Box Office.

6:30 - 9 PM — The Scholarship Honors Dinner
Memorial Center, Young Main Lounge
Many of our students rely on the generous donations of alumni and friends of IWU to get the most out of their education. This exclusive dinner, formerly known as The Benefactor Dinner, provides an opportunity for students to interact with and thank their donors in a personal setting.

7:30 PM — Romeo and Juliet
McPherson Hall, Jerome Mirza Theatre
The School of Theatre Arts (SoTA) season production featuring current students in all roles, directed by Tom Quinn. William Shakespeare's enduring tragedy about two star-crossed lovers from feuding families opens our 2025-2026 season in a bold, new interpretation. Inverting the legacy of Elizabethan performance, this production departs from traditional casting expectations to ask compelling questions about identity and the masks we wear in society. Tickets are available at the SoTA Box Office.

9 - 10 AM — 50th Reunion Campus Tours
Welcome Center
Members of the Class of 1975, join us for golf cart tours of campus as we explore locations both familiar and new. These tours have been created specifically for your class to highlight classic IWU sights such as the Hedding Bell and Memorial Gym, as well as exciting additions like State Farm Hall. Please meet at the Minor Myers, jr. Welcome Center.

9 AM - 12 PM — Alumni Association Board of Directors (AABD) Meeting

The Alumni Association Board of Directors (AABD) is the representative body of the IWU Alumni Association. IWU alumni are members of the Association and are invited to attend.

10 - 11 AM — First Gen Panel
Hansen Student Center, Center Court
What’s your first-gen story? Did you know that 30% of the incoming Class of 2029 are First Generation students? IWU F1RST is a growing community of students, alumni, staff, and faculty connected by our shared experience as the first generation in our family to graduate with a four-year degree. Together we provide support and share resources to navigate the college experience. We also maintain the IWU F1RST Fund to ensure access to study abroad, internships, and research.

11 AM - 3 PM — Nursing Escape Room: Mental Health Nursing
Stevenson Hall, Lower Level Simulation Lab
Can you solve the clues and puzzles to escape while maintaining a safe environment for yourself and your patient? Come participate in this interactive nursing escape room. Families and alumni are welcome to join in. We will ensure at least one nursing student is in each group to help as well. Prize to the group with the best time! Sign up for your slot here!

12 - 5 PM — Homecoming and Family Weekend Headquarters

Start your Homecoming Weekend at Headquarters in Hansen Student Center! Pick up your name tag, grab exclusive IWU swag, and get all the info you need for the weekend’s events.

12:30 - 1:30 PM — Innovators & Entrepreneurs in the Arts Panel
Hansen Student Center, Center Court
Listen to innovation and entrepreneurship leaders in the arts share stories and lessons learned through their ventures, as well as how they leveraged their IWU education, experience, and professional networks to build and manage their companies. A dessert bar will be provided, and all current students (all majors/years) are encouraged to attend.

3 - 5 PM — Engaged Learning Expo
Memorial Center, Vinyard Room & Henning Room
Across all academic disciplines, IWU Titans make important contributions to the community through research, creative achievements, and service learning. This poster presentation showcases work by our students in the Robert S. and Nell B. Eckley Scholars and Artists Fellowship, the Summer Enrichment Program, the Beckman Scholars in Biology, and the Environmental Studies Summer Experience.

5 - 7:30 PM — The President's Celebration Banquet

Join us as President Zenger honors our reunion groups, Golden Titans, and Alumni Award winners. All Titan community members are invited to this event to kick off Homecoming and Family Weekend!

6 - 8 PM — Music Bingo
Hansen Student Center, Center Court
Ready to test your music brain? Like Bingo, you identify songs on a Bingo card. There will be different themes each round that may vary from artists, genres, eras, or just songs!

6 - 8:30 PM — 101st Chapter Anniversary Musicale
Evelyn Chapel
This musical recital features performances from our collegiate and alumni members and will include a short ceremony to recognize honorees in correspondence to our chapter Homecoming theme: "Because." This event is open to all.

6 - 9 PM — Lacrosse Alumni Game
Shirk Center, Tucci Stadium
Women's lacrosse alumni are invited and encouraged to join us for our annual Homecoming Weekend alumni game! Alumni will play a competitive scrimmage against our current roster. Family and friends are welcome to cheer from the stands! We hope to see you there!

The IWU Titan Pep Band is bringing the beat to the heart of campus with an electrifying performance on the Quad! All current and former Titan Pep Band musicians are welcome to join, and we will honor the class of 2015 and 2005 during this performance.

10 - 11 AM — Storytelling at IWU: What Can We Learn About the Media's Future?
Memorial Center, Vinyard Room
IWU has forged a tradition of storytelling excellence, producing successful journalists and communications professionals who developed their skills here on campus. The bedrock of sound communication writing isn't just facts and quotes, but weaving a compelling story that informs, engages, and fosters understanding. Even so, can good truth-telling stories win over audiences suspicious of the media and commercial messaging?  What are the challenges that undermine public trust including media fragmentation and an emphasis on sensationalism to attract attention? How can good storytelling help bridge gaps in perception? Join us for a conversation with Jennifer Christopher Nau ‘03, Amanda ReCupido ‘07, Sarah Weinstein Edwards ‘96 and Tom Wetzel ‘72 as we work to answer these questions.

The Peace Garden will be holding a Harvest Fest from noon to 3 p.m. on its site at the corner of University Avenue and Evans Street. Activities include apple bobbing, pumpkin carving, and cider making. Alums will also be invited to make their own pizza in our wood fired oven.

12 - 3 PM — Math and Physics Jam
McPherson Hall Outdoor Stage
Live music on the quad from The Empty Set, which consists of two math professors, a physics alum, and other great musicians. Join us for snacks, games, and some familiar tunes.

1 - 3 PM — Titan Makers
Memorial Center, The Idea Center
The Titan Makers, sponsored by The Petrick Idea Center, is a program led by IWU students aimed at empowering youth interested in STEAM in the Bloomington/Normal area. In this two-hour workshop, children aged around 7 to 12 will explore the uses of 3D printing, learn CAD design, discover famous people in STEM, collaborate with peers, and ultimately create a personalized 3D print that will later be mailed to them. Register here!

Join us for a night of incredible music, international collaboration, and cultural exchange as the IWU Wind Ensemble presents works alongside the Youth Wind Orchestra of Saxony, Germany! The evening will include incredible American and German composers while we highlight the importance of music and the universal language that it is.

Reconnect and celebrate Homecoming and Family Weekend at the Alumni of Color Collective (ACC) Social! This vibrant event brings together alumni and friends for an evening of networking, cultural exchange, and community building.

The School of Theatre Arts (SoTA) season production featuring current students in all roles, directed by Tom Quinn. William Shakespeare's enduring tragedy about two star-crossed lovers from feuding families opens our 2025-2026 season in a bold, new interpretation. Inverting the legacy of Elizabethan performance, this production departs from traditional casting expectations to ask compelling questions about identity and the masks we wear in society.
