Homecoming Weekend Schedule

8:30 - 11 AM — Coffee with Tommy
The Quad, Joslin Atrium Steps
Kick off Homecoming with a cozy treat! Join us for free coffee, donuts, and apple cider alongside our favorite Titan, Tommy! Stop by for snacks, selfies, and school spirit as we start the celebration in true IWU style.

1 - 3 PM — RSO Window Painting
Memorial Center (Vinyard Room), Hansen Student Center (Tommy’s), Shirk Center
Student organizations can showcase their creativity and school spirit! Each RSO will have the opportunity to paint a window, highlighting their organization and showcasing their school pride.

6 - 8 PM — Women's Volleyball
Shirk Center
Cheer on the Titans at the Women’s Volleyball game during Homecoming Weekend. All are welcome to stop by and show their support!

7 - 9 PM — Men's Soccer vs. Augustana
Neis Field
Cheer on the Men’s Soccer team as they host Augustana!

6 - 9 PM — The Scholarship Honors Dinner
Memorial Center, Young Main Lounge
Many of our students rely on the generous donations of alumni and friends of IWU to get the most out of their education. This exclusive dinner provides an opportunity for students to interact with and thank their donors in a personal setting.

Join your fellow Class of 1971 classmates for a chance to catch up, reminisce, and kick off Homecoming Weekend together.

Join fellow baseball alumni for an evening of competition, camaraderie, and fun! Step up to the plate, reconnect with former Titan teammates, and see who can hit the most home runs.

Sit back for an hour of entertainment with the School of Theatre Arts, including previews from its forthcoming 2026-2027 season lineup, debut films, and student talent across disciplines.

7:30 - 9 PM — Women's Volleyball Game vs Millikin
Shirk Center
Kick off Homecoming Weekend with Titan volleyball! The Titans face conference rival Millikin in an important CCIW matchup, and we'll also honor the trailblazing 1991 Women's Volleyball team, whose NCAA Tournament appearance marked a historic first for Illinois Wesleyan. Come celebrate Titan history while cheering on today's Titans to victory.

7:30 - 8:30 PM — America's 250th Homecoming Concert

8:30 - 10:30 PM — Women's Volleyball Alumni Social

The excitement doesn't end at the final whistle! All alumni and families are invited to join the Women's Volleyball team immediately following the match for an evening of light appetizers, drinks, and Homecoming celebrations. We look forward to spending time with you all!

Following the Homecoming Exhibition, SoTA will host a light reception during the interval before premiering two short films from its growing program.

9 - 10:30 AM — The First Five Years
McPherson Hall, Jerome Mirza Theatre
An annual tradition returns! The School of Theatre Arts welcomes home its recent alumni to advise and encourage their undergraduate compatriots on the first five years out of college and in the field. For SoTA majors and minors, but guests are welcome! Meet-and-greet with light refreshments to follow for graduating seniors.

9 - 11 AM — School of Art & Design Reception for the exhibition "Wish You Were Here: A postcard show from IWU's School of Art & Design Alumni"
Joyce Eichhorn Ames School of Art Building, Wakeley Gallery
In Spring of 2026, 650+ School of Art & Design alums from 1948 to 2025 were sent a postcard with the prompt to fill in its blank side with their art, and mail it back to the gallery. What we received results in this exhibition - a celebration of our school and the alumni who helped make it great. Come view the art and enjoy a morning reception with coffee, tea, and light snacks at the gallery. Concurrent to this show is artist Caroline Burton's exhibition in the Merwin Gallery, which will also be open and can be viewed at the same time.

9 AM - 1 PM — Third Annual 1850 Vendor Market
The Quad
Enjoy a day of joy and laughter as families gather on Eckley Quad with a wide array of activities, including face painters, inflatables, and more. The IWU Pep Band is performing from 10-10:30 AM, and the 1850 Market features small businesses, local shops, food trucks, and makers with goods to purchase!

10 - 10:30 AM — Titan Pep Band on the Quad
The Quad
The IWU Titan Pep Band is bringing the beat to the heart of campus with an electrifying performance on the Quad! Join us for upbeat tunes, strong school spirit, and a fun way to connect with friends and enjoy the music! All current and former Titan Pep Band musicians are welcome to join, and we will honor the class of 2016 and 2006 during this performance.

10 - 11:30 AM — Collegiate Choir Rehearsal

Any and ALL Titan Choir alumni are encouraged to join! This event is a rehearsal for our Homecoming Weekend Sunday chapel service at 10 AM, directed by Director of Choral Ensembles Dr. Cody Parrott.

An encore screening of two short films debuted the night prior for anyone who wasn't able to attend (or stay after) the Homecoming Exhibition, or who simply wants to enjoy both movies again!

• Alumni of Color Collective Tailgate MixerJoin the Alumni of Color Collective for a vibrant tailgate mixer open to IWU alumni, current students, faculty, staff, and community members! The Collective will provide a selection of meats fresh off the grill, we invite guests to bring a side dish to share and help make the spread a true community feast.
