Intern Housing

If you are a current college student with a summer internship in the Bloomington-Normal area, look no further for your summer housing!  Illinois Wesleyan offers apartment-style accommodations to any undergraduate or graduate student with an internship during the summer. 

2024 Program Dates

Sunday, May 19 - Wednesday, July 31, 2024

Interns can choose the move-in and move-out that best fits their schedule, and partial months will be prorated.  There is a 30 consectutive night minimum required to stay in our housing.

Eligibility

Interns must be currently enrolled college (undergraduate or graduate) students with an internship in the Bloomington-Normal area.

Process

Interested applicants can email conferences@iwu.edu to fill out our application form and receive our Agreement.  Applications are accepted on a first-come, first-serve basis beginning in February.

Housing 

All interns stay in The Gates at Wesleyan apartments, located on Empire Street.  Each apartment contains four bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms.  All utilities, parking, and laundry are included in the nightly rate.  Each room is furnished with a bed, desk and storage area (please bring your own linens).  Each apartment has a living room and full kitchen with stove, fridge, dishwasher and oven - but please note you'll need to bring your own supplies (cookware, plates, utensils, towels, soap, etc.).
