Google Scholar

You can use Google Scholar to search for articles, books, reports, and dissertations available online. If you’re searching Google Scholar on campus, you will be able to view full-text materials we have access to via our library subscriptions.

From off campus, you can configure Google Scholar to use “Get This @ IWU” to access IWU materials:

  1. Go to  Google Scholar .
  2. Click the menu icon in the upper left-hand corner and choose "Settings."
  3. Select "Library Links" on the left side.
  4. In the search box for library access links, search for "Illinois Wesleyan University."
  5. Click the checkbox next to "Illinois Wesleyan University (IWU) - Bloomington IL - Get This @ IWU," and then click "Save."
  6. When you do a search in Google Scholar, you will see "Get This @ IWU" links in your search results. When you click on the link, you will be taken to a MegaSearch menu with options for full-text access. You must be a current student, staff member, or faculty member to access IWU subscriptions from off campus.

If you have any questions, please contact your library liaison or the Library Services Desk at 309-556-3350.
