Relaxation Station Policy

The Ames Library Relaxation Station is located in room 334, on the west side of the third floor.

The purpose of the space is to provide a quiet space for reflection, meditation, and stress relief.  

The room can be reserved for up to one hour per day. 

Guidelines for use

  • Be respectful of others using the room, including sensitivity to noise, smells, lights, etc.
  • Keep the area clean and ready for others to use, including disposing of food/drink containers.
  • Please do not use the space for meetings, social events, group work, or study
  • Please limit use of electronic devices to purposes of relaxation or meditation
  • Absolutely no candles, flames, or incense is allowed in the room
