Shawn Adelman

Shawn Adelman

Hello! My name is Shawn Adelman, and I am currently a junior BFA Acting student at Illinois Wesleyan University. I had the opportunity to study in London through the British American Drama Academy (BADA). This experience opened so many doors for me, not only within my major but also through the professional connections and opportunities it provided within the entertainment industry.

Studying abroad allowed me to grow both personally and artistically, and I highly encourage other students to consider taking advantage of similar opportunities. Please feel free to reach out with any questions about studying abroad at sadelma@gmail.com.

My name is Grace Fagan, and I am a junior at IWU! I am studying Psychology and Spanish, and I play on the golf team here! I had the amazing opportunity of studying abroad in Málaga, Spain this past summer and it was one of the coolest experiences of my life! My favorite part was making friends from around the world and getting to visit so many cool monuments and cities! As someone who studied abroad while still playing a sport, making Study Abroad work is possible, and we're happy to help you do that!! Reach out to me at gfagan@iwu.edu if you have any questions!

Emma Kudelka

Emma Kudelka

My name is Emma Kudelka and I am a senior Political Science major with Psychology and Advocacy Pre-Law minors! I never thought that I would be able to study abroad, but I have had the opportunity to travel to Tokyo, Japan via the Technos International Week program and to the Dominican Republic for a May Term course about Health Policy. Although very different, both experiences allowed me to gain cultural understanding and experiential learning across the globe.
Riley McDoniel

Riley McDoniel

Hello! My name is Riley McDoniel and I am from Orland Park, Illinois. My major is Kinesiology with a minor in Psych and I studied abroad in Malaga, Spain for a month this past summer! I was lucky enough to travel with 2 of my best friends and explore the southern cities of Spain. My favorite parts of the trip would be meeting my international friends I made, the Spanish cuisine, the beautiful European buildings, beach excursions, and of course, gelato! I am open to any questions you may have about studying abroad! I highly encourage you to take the chance on abroad for the trip of a lifetime!!
Kaysha Molizone

Kaysha Molizone

Hi! I’m Kaysha Molizone, a senior Public Health major at Illinois Wesleyan University, a first-generation college student, and a Posse Scholar. I studied away in Washington, D.C. in Fall 2025 and studied abroad in the Dominican Republic in May 2026. These experiences strengthened my passion for global health, challenged me to step outside of my comfort zone, and showed me that some of the most meaningful learning happens beyond the classroom by immersing myself in new cultures and communities. As a Study Abroad Ambassador, I hope to inspire more students to realize these opportunities are within reach. Studying away and abroad changed the way I see the world, and I’d love to help others discover that for themselves.
Maddie Pool

Maddie Pool

I am a junior from Wheaton, IL double majoring in Secondary Education and Hispanic Studies with a minor in sports management! I play softball here at IWU, and I’m also involved in Sigma Kappa Sorority, aspiring educators club,  and a campus captain for hidden opponent club! I work for Shirk and Athletic Communications as well. The best part about IWU is that you get to do it all and still have time to study abroad! This past summer I studied abroad in Málaga, Spain and it was one of the best decisions of my life! I encourage everyone to go outside of their comfort zone and explore the world! There is so much more to life than where you live!  You can email me at mpool@iwu.edu if you have any questions.
