Make your enrollment deposit as soon as possible to secure your place at IWU.

Once you've completed and submitted the IWU Family Finance Verification Form, with a copy of your passport and completed application, the International Office can create your I-20 (F-1 visa) or DS-2019 (J-1 visa). The I-20/DS-2019 is required for you to obtain your visa. The I-20 will be sent to via email, and the DS-2019 will be physically mailed.

NOTE: It is very helpful to complete your Campus Housing Survey and Rising Titan Registration as soon as possible. Details for completing both task will be sent to your IWU email account.

Make your travel plans. The preferred arrival airport* is in Bloomington,IL (BMI) and it is accessible from Chicago (ORD), Atlanta (ATL), Minneapolis (MSP), Detroit (DTW) and Dallas (DFW) airports. Move in day is Tuesday, August 15, 2023. Pre-Orientation begins on Thursday, August 17, 2023 and runs through Monday morning, August 21, 2023.
*Students who arrive at the Bloomington airport report significantly less stress than those who take the Peoria Charter Bus from Chicago. We highly recommend that your final, connecting flight arrives in Bloomington.
