Fall Semester

Study Abroad

For students interested in studying abroad, the recommended semester(s) is fall or spring, second, third, or fourth year.

Additional Information
  • English majors are advised to take Gateway Colloquium in the Fall, as it is a requirement for 200 level courses.
  • Professor Theune is willing ( mtheune@iwu.edu ) willing to sign a waiver form to waive prerequisites for English majors and minors who wish to enroll in English 280: Understanding Literature. This policy also holds for other 200-level literature courses that have Gateway as a prerequisite.
  • Students planning to double major in English Writing and Secondary Education should also follow the English Writing/Secondary Education Course Plan.
