Developing Globally Focused, High-Impact Experiences for IWU Students


Students benefitted from globally focused internships and development, additional short-term and embedded study abroad courses, and a new Scholar-in-Residence program:


Short-Term & Embedded Faculty-Led Study Abroad Courses:

  • Developed short-term, faculty-led courses for May 2026 in London, Paris, and the Dominican Republic.
  • Delivered short-term, faculty-led travel courses in May 2025 to Vienna, Prague, Budapest, South Africa, Ecuador, and Japan.
  • Developed and implemented embedded teaching modules into existing courses.
