The University recognizes the following holidays for which staff receive time off with pay.

Thanksgiving: November 22 - 24, 2023

4 o’clock hours observed*: December 18 – 21, 2023

Winter Break: December 22, 2023 – January 1, 2024

4 o’clock hours observed: January 2, 2024 – January 7, 2024*

Spring Break: March 11, 2024

4 o’clock hours observed*: March 12 – 15, 2024

Memorial Day: May 27, 2024

Independence Day: July 4-5, 2024

4 o’clock hours observed*: May 6 - August 16, 2024

Labor Day: September 2, 2024

 

* During 4 o’clock hours (8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m./1:00 – 4:00 p.m.), supervisors will generally release employees after seven hours of work, if required work has been completed. Afternoon breaks will be discontinued and overtime pay will be provided for hours worked beyond 40 per week.
