Employer Services

The Hart Career Center uses Handshake as our career services platform for our employer and job database. Create a Handshake account for free and connect with colleges that use the platform to share opportunities with students.

We are able to provide on-campus interviews in-person and virtually. We hope to make luncheon arrangements with you during an in-person visit, which can include Hart Career Center staff and IWU faculty from certain departments.

The Hart Career Center will advertise your recruiting visit to students before your interview date. If you would like to share publicity materials with our office, we would be happy to pass it along to interested students and targeted faculty.

Post a Job/Internship Opportunity

Full-time/part-time jobs, paid/unpaid internships, experiential learning, and volunteer opportunities are shared with students through Handshake, our career services platform for our employer and job database (please note that IWU does not support cooperative education or co-ops). Post an opportunity to Handshake for our students!

Recruitment

On-Campus interviews can be scheduled Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm during the Fall and Spring semesters. We accommodate both open and pre-select interviews for students. Please contact Patrick Zajac, Employer Relations, at pzajac@iwu.edu or (309) 556-3095 before posting an interview schedule to Handshake in order for us to collaborate with publicity efforts and scheduling.

Career Fairs

Participate in a Career Fair to meet students seeking internship/job opportunities and looking to continue their education in graduate/professional schools! Promote your organization and its benefits directly to IWU students at our Fall Career & Internship Fair, Fall Nursing Career Fair & Spring Job & Internship Fair. Register for Career Fairs in Handshake or email Amie Keeton, akeeton@iwu.edu for more information.
