Grainne graduated from Illinois Wesleyan University in 2019 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology, and minors in Hispanic Studies and Coaching. While at IWU, Grainne worked at the Hart Career Center, volunteered in the community, and was heavily involved on campus. From 2015 to 2019, she played for the Titans on the women's lacrosse team and captained the team in 2018 and 2019. Before returning to IWU in 2021 to serve as an assistant coach for her alma mater, Grainne completed her Master of Arts degree in secondary education at Lewis University, where she also earned her teaching license for the State of Illinois. Grainne is passionate about coaching, learning, traveling, and sharing her love for Illinois Wesleyan!
