SBDC Hosts “How to Start a Business in Illinois”

BLOOMINGTON, Ill.— The Illinois Small Business Development Center of McLean County at Illinois Wesleyan University (SBDC) will host “How to Start a Business in Illinois” on Wednesday, Dec. 13 from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at Heartland Bank (200 W. College, Normal).

Members of the public are invited to join SBDC Assistant Director Katelyn Hill to learn more about how to start a small business in Illinois. This engaging and informative two-hour seminar, sponsored by Heartland Bank, will include information on:

  • Business Feasibility and Planning
  • Choosing and Registering your Business Name and Structure
  • Marketing Your Business
  • Gaining Access to Financial Resources
  • Accounting and Financial Record Keeping
