Five Student Films to be Featured at Screening Festival Monday Night

Five original short films — featuring writing, film making and acting by Illinois Wesleyan University students — will be presented during the fifth annual Phenom Film Festival at 7 p.m. on Monday, April 28.

Titan Athletics

The Illinois Wesleyan University softball team clinched at least a share of the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin Regular Season Championship after defeating Carthage College on Sunday, April 27. 

 

The men's lacrosse team claimed the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin Regular Season Championship outright with a win over Carroll University at Tucci Stadium on Saturday, April 26. The Titans completed their seventh straight clean sweep of the regular season league slate.

Administrative Specialist in the Registrar's Office Misty Metroz has launched a podcast called, "Simply Scripture...Simple Faith" where she shares Bible scripture through her creative writing ministry. The podcast is available on Spotify, iHeart Radio and Amazon Music. She also leads a life coaching practice called Possibilities & Potential Coaching.

Wellness

Yoga will resume for three additional weeks beginning May 5 through May 22. Yoga will be on Mondays and Thursdays, in the Niepagen South Classroom of the Shirk Center at 12:15 p.m. Keep an eye open for an email regarding a summer discounted rate for Yoga at the Blooming Life Yoga Studio for all IWU employees.
