On Sunday, February 21, and Monday, February 22, the School of Nursing is holding
a 36-hour giving drive, as part of its Redesigning The Future fundraising campaign
to renovate Stevenson Hall.
Over the past 10 years, enrollment at the School of Nursing has more than doubled,
and technology has become increasingly important in the curriculum. The renovation
will allow for increasing the size of classrooms on the first floor of Stevenson Hall
and consolidating and expanding simulation and laboratories on the garden level to
simulate a hospital environment.
The renovation brochure and videos showcasing what is unique about the School of Nursing
are available online at titanpride.org/nursingdrive.
The need for this comprehensive redesign of Stevenson Hall is long overdue, and with
the generous support of alumni and friends, we will break ground at the close of the
school year and reopen our renovated building in time to welcome students back for
Fall 2016 semester.
