Spring Choral Concert

BLOOMINGTON, Ill.— The Illinois Wesleyan choral ensembles will perform in concert on Tuesday, April 5 at 8 p.m. at the Second Presbyterian Church in Bloomington, 313 N. East St., Bloomington.

The ensembles to perform include University Choir, Collegiate Choir, and the Chamber Singers. All of the groups are directed by J. Scott Ferguson, professor of music and director of choral activities in the IWU School of Music.

The event will feature the world premiere of the commissioned work Hallelujah Adonai by Kenneth Lampl. Other pieces to be performed in the concert include Sicut Cervus by Giovanni Pierluigi da Palestrina, I Am Not Yours by Z. Randall Stroope, and the “Due North” series by Stephen Chatman.

The event is free and open to the public.
