BLOOMINGTON, Ill.— Illinois Wesleyan University alumna Michelle Huls Rice will speak on Nov. 1 at the Illinois Wesleyan University Welcome Center Auditorium. The founder of the Women’s Dreamvision Network, Huls Rice will speak about leadership skills and how to grow your potential.
The Women’s Dreamvision Network helps female entrepreneurs build and market their businesses. Huls Rice offers new female entrepreneurs inspiration and guidance by sharing a behind-the-scenes look into how others started their businesses, shares her favorite entrepreneurial projects, and helps entrepreneurs find partners with complimentary skill sets.
“I’m so passionate about this because when I speak with women, so many have great ideas, things they want to do, ways they want to make a difference,” she said on her website.
A 2001 graduate of Illinois Wesleyan with a major in political science, Huls Rice has more than a decade of experience working in communications and marketing. In addition to organizing the Women’s Dreamvision Network, she currently works as the director of communications of the College of Engineering at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
She will speak at 7 p.m. in a presentation that is free and open to the public. The presentation is part of the co-curricular events surrounding Illinois Wesleyan’s annual theme Women’s Power, Women’s Justice.
