BLOOMINGTON, Ill.— Illinois Wesleyan University President Richard F. Wilson will present the commencement address May 9 at his alma mater, Alderson Broaddus University (AB) in West Virginia.

Wilson is a 1968 graduate of what was then named Alderson-Broaddus College. He started his career in higher education at AB as director of admissions.

According to an announcement from Alderson Broaddus, Wilson will address the AB Class of 2015 with a speech entitled "Reflections of Making a Difference."

AB believes he is the only Alderson Broaddus alum to ever serve as a college or university president. The AB announcement also notes that Dr. Patricia Wilson's father, Dr. Richard Shearer, was the longest tenured AB president, serving for 32 years.
