Ceremony Honors Youth Academic Achievement

BLOOMINGTON, Ill.— More than 1,300 Bloomington-Normal youth with outstanding academic achievements in fifth through 12th grades were recognized June 29 at the 24th annual Minority Academic Achievement Recognition Ceremony. The event was hosted by Illinois Wesleyan University in collaboration with the Neighbor-to-Neighbor Educational Activity Club.

The event featured youth speaker Sanskriti Khurana, a senior at Normal Community High School, and guest speaker Richard F. Wilson, president of Illinois Wesleyan University.
