Fields '12 to Give Public Relations Workshop

Alumna Kristin Fields ’12, digital associate at Weber Shandwick’s Chicago office, will host a public relations career workshop at 6 p.m. on Oct. 29. She will discuss her work experience and how students of all majors can start a career in public relations.

With offices in 81 countries, Weber Shandwick is an award-winning, global public relations firm. Fields began working at the firm as a consumer marketing intern in 2012, and later became assistant digital associate. Now a digital associate, Fields specializes in digital communications, including content creation and management, real-time marketing, influence management and social media strategy.

An English major at Illinois Wesleyan, Fields was involved in the Sigma Tau Delta English Honor Society and the spoken word group Lyrical Graffiti, served on the editorial board of Illinois Wesleyan’s creative arts journal, Tributaries, and was a writer and assistant news editor for The Argus.
