Anderson ’68 Named President of Seniority, Inc.
Nov. 20, 2014
Joe Anderson ’68 has been named president of Seniority, Inc., a provider of management, sales and developmental consulting to senior living communities throughout the United States.
A wholly owned subsidiary of ABHOW, a senior housing and healthcare provider in the western United States, the firm currently manages five communities, with two more scheduled for opening by 2016.
From 1997 to 2005, he served as the founding president of Seniority. In 2005 Anderson became president of the ABHOW Foundation, a senior housing and health care provider, but continued to work as a senior consultant for Seniority.
“I am pleased to be back at Seniority,” Anderson said. “This is an exciting time to build our third-party management business and increase the number of older people we serve.”
Anderson graduated from Illinois Wesleyan with a degree in political science. He frequently speaks at senior housing and health care meetings, including the American Association of Homes and Services for the Aging, The National Homebuilders Convention, The National Association of Presbyterian Retirement Homes and the United Methodist Association.
