Cows 'Pie' to Support Local Habitat for Humanity

BLOOMINGTON, Ill.— Illinois Wesleyan University’s Habitat for Humanity Campus Chapter
will present their second annual Cow Pie Bingo fundraiser during the IWU Homecoming football game, Saturday, October 12. The event will take place from 1:00 p.m. to
4:00 p.m. on the IWU practice field located directly behind Tucci Stadium (302 E.
Emerson St., Bloomington).
Admission to the game of bingo is free, however, anyone interested in participating
can reserve numerous squares on the Cow Pie Bingo grid by purchasing tickets. Tickets
for the bingo game can be purchased during regular school hours, at the time of the
event or online at http://cowpiebingo.eventbrite.com/. Students, staff, alumni, and community members are welcome. The price for one ticket
is $3, and $5 for two tickets.
At halftime of the football game, the well-fed cows will be free to roam the practice
field. The lucky participant holding the ticket to the square where the cows choose
to “pie” will win $300. The owners of the eight surrounding squares will also receive
prizes donated from local businesses as well as the Chicago Bears, Chicago Chocolate
Tours and The Chicago White Sox. Meanwhile, spectators at this family-friendly event
can enjoy free activities such as a bounce house, face-painting, henna tattoos, food
and a DJ.
A portion of all funds that are collected, will be donated to the Habitat of Humanity
