Junior Student Recital

BLOOMINGTON, Ill. – The Illinois Wesleyan School of Music will present a junior student
recital on Sunday, April 14. Soprano Hayley Robinson ’14, from Morris, Ill., will
be performing along with baritone Kevin Mangan ’14, from Schaumburg, Ill. The recital
will take place at 11 a.m. in Westbrook Auditorium of Presser Hall (1210 N. Park St.,
Bloomington). The recital is free and open to the public.
Robinson will perform “Come Unto Him” by George F. Handel, “Down in the Forest” by Landon Ronald, “Sure on this Shining Night” by Samuel Barber, “Summertime” by George Gershwin, “Die Nacht” by Richard Strauss, “Liebst du um Schönheit” by Gustav Mahler and “O Mio Babbino Caro” by Giacomo Puccini and.
Mangan will perform “Dank, sei dir Herr” by George F. Handel, “Die Forelle, D.550” by Franz Schubert, “Widmung, Op. 25, No. 1” by Robert Schumann, “Votre toast, je peux vous le render” by Georges Bizet, “Vagabond,” “The Roadside Fire,” and “Whither Must I Wander?” by Ralph Vaughan Williams and “Stars” by Claude-Michel Schönberg.
Together, Robinson and Mangan will perform “I’ve Never Been in Love Before” by Frank Loesser.
