Wesleyan Consort

BLOOMINGTON, Ill.— The Illinois Wesleyan School of Music will hold a performance by the Wesleyan Consort on Saturday, March 23 at 7 p.m. in Evelyn Chapel (1301 Park St., Bloomington). The concert is free and open to the public.

The program will include “Pracludium in E minor” by Nicholaus Bruhns, “Ich beuge meine Knie (SWV 319)” by Heinrich, “Schütz Das Blut Jesu Christi (SWV 298)” by Schütz, “Dominus noster” by André Campra, “Damos gracias a ti, Dios” by Francisco de la Torre, “Hoboeckentanz” by Tylman Susato, “Pavan II” by Richard Mico, “Mystery Sonata No. 6 in C minor” by Heinrich I. F. Biber, “Pur ti miro” by Claudio Monteverdi and “Dein ed les Herz (Bux WV14)” by Dieterich Buxtehude.

The event will feature a variety of vocalists and instruments including the organ, violin, harpsichord and viola.
