Student Recital - Lucas Tuazon ’13

BLOOMINGTON, Ill. – The Illinois Wesleyan School of Music will present the composition
recital of Lucas Tuazon ’13 from Tinley Park, Ill. on Thursday, March 28 at 8 p.m.
in Westbrook Auditorium of Presser Hall (1210 N. Park St., Bloomington). The recital
is free and open to the public.
Tuazon will perform vocals and piano for his compositions: “Couldn’t See My Lies,”
“A Pain,” “Flower in the Field” and “Swoop and Dive.” His composition “Brass Quintet
for my Sinfonian Brothers,” will be performed by Greg Goeden on trumpet, Drew Bogan
on flugelhorn, Zachary Siegel on trombone, Sam Sterbenc on euphonium and Brandon Moore
“Nasdrave – For the Couch that Inspired Me,” will be performed by Ella Pittsford on
violin, Alicia Gummess on viola and Lucas Jackson on cello. “Resounding Heart” will
be performed by Lucas Jackson on cello, Todd Anderson on bass and Jensin Roberts on
piano. “Verbi Ore” will be performed by members of the Illinois Wesleyan School of
Music Collegiate Choir.
Suspended, the Illinois Wesleyan male A Capella group, will perform Tuazon’s arrangements
of “Raining Men” by The Weather Girls, “From Such Great Heights” by The Postal Service
and “Send Me On My Way,” by Rusted Root.
