All the world’s a stage in Shakespeare’s As You Like It, a tale of flirtation, friendship and mistaken identity. Rosalind—joined by her cousin Celia and Touchstone, her court jester—flees persecution in her uncle’s court and goes into hiding in the Forest of Arden. The forest is not as secluded as she thinks, and Rosalind and her companions must navigate this new world where nothing is really as it seems. Filled with clever gender reversals and timely twists of fate, As You Like It takes a lighthearted look at the fickle, yet passionate, nature of love.
