Junior Pianist to Give Recital

BLOOMINGTON, Ill.— The Illinois Wesleyan School of Music will host a recital for piano
performance major Sarah Muehlbauer, Class of 2015, on Saturday, November 16 at 5 p.m.
in Westbrook Auditorium, located in Presser Hall (1210 Park St., Bloomington). The
event, which will be presented as a part of the Student Concert Series, is free and
open to the public.
Muehlbauer will perform pieces she has accrued in her repertoire during her studies at IWU. Her performance pieces will include selections from the following works: “English Suite No. 4 in F Major, BWV 809” by J. S. Bach; “From Miroirs” by Maurice Ravel; “Sonata No. 47 in B Minor, Hob. XVI/32” by F. J. Haydn; and “Sonata No. 2 in G Minor, Op. 22” by Robert Schumann.
In between the four pieces, there will be a brief intermission. Following the performance, the School of Music will give a reception for Muehlbauer.
