BLOOMINGTON, Ill.— Illinois Wesleyan University’s Hart Career Center will host a panel
discussion on Tuesday, April 9 at 7:30 p.m. in the auditorium of the Minor Myers,
jr. Welcome Center (1211 Park St., Bloomington). The panel will discuss the use of
a liberal arts education to engage in socially and environmentally responsible careers.
The program will feature Illinois Wesleyan alumni who are working in the fields of
social or environmental justice, the panelists are:
- Katie Coleman ’04: English major and environmental studies minor at IWU, who now works
as a Communications Associate, Environmental Law and Policy Center
- Bessie Crum ’04: Hispanic Studies major at IWU who taught English in Myanmar
- Tristan Gunn ’04: philosophy major at IWU who works as an immigration attorney in
Tapia-Ruano and Gunn P.C.
- Todd Zoelick ’00: history and political science major and English and business minor,
who works in the U.S. Department of Education as a Regional Representative.
The panel will also feature alumni Molly McLay'06 and current student Annette Rauch'15,
a sophomore Hispanic studies and sociology major.
